Some of the more affordable Android tabs you’ll find out there worth your time, if you’re looking for a more casual solution, perhaps for the whole family, something for road trips, or just as a couch browser, the TCL models are certainly worth consideration while on sale.

As you’ll see in the list above, there are some models starting as low as $150 right now, but it is this TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus Android Tablet I have my eye on. Listed at $280
While we have tracked regular deals on this model over the last few months, the only time we have seen go for less than this is during this year’s summer and fall Prime Day deals. Today’s deal is within $20 of the summer event and with $12 or so of the fall sale.
Again, this is not some wildly premium flagship Android tab, but it is perfectly capable for browsing, social media, video chats, and more, delivering that 11.5-inch NXTPAPER 4.0 Display at 120Hz, T-PEN stylus support, and the 3-in-1 VersaView Modes:
Easily switch between three display modes using the dedicated NXTPAPER Key on this TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet. Regular Mode delivers vivid visuals for streaming, video calls, and digital art, Ink Paper Mode turns the screen into an e-reader-like display for comfortable reading and note-taking, and Color Paper Mode offers soft, low-saturation tones ideal for comics and magazines
