Curvestone AI, an artificial intelligence-powered compliance platform for regulated financial services, has partnered with Connect for Intermediaries to introduce automated compliance reviews across the network’s more than 350 member firms.
The deployment is designed to replace traditional sample-based checks with comprehensive case-file reviews, enabling firms to assess every case rather than examining only a proportion of their business. Curvestone AI says this approach can help financial services firms reduce compliance risks, increase processing capacity and support business growth without proportionately increasing staffing requirements. Each reviewed case also generates an audit trail to support regulatory oversight.
The partnership includes integration with OMS, the customer relationship management (CRM) system used by Connect. By linking Curvestone AI directly with the platform, compliance teams can avoid manually transferring case information between systems. The integration is also expected to enable advisers to conduct preliminary checks before submitting cases for formal compliance review.
Curvestone AI automates compliance processes across regulated financial services, including case-file assessments, financial promotions reviews and financial crime controls. Its platform serves mortgage brokers, intermediary networks, lenders and wealth advisers across the UK.
The initial deployment represents the first phase of the partnership, with the companies planning further enhancements following the wider roll-out.
Curvestone AI founder and CEO Dawid Kotur said, “This partnership with Connect perfectly demonstrates the network use case for our proposition and shows how by using usaluable time without sacrificing quality and overall compliance.”
He added, “This is the first phase of our on-going work with Connect and we look forward to being able to announce enhancements in the coming months as the roll-out finishes.”
Connect for Intermediaries CEO Liz Syms said the network must review mortgage and protection cases submitted by its member firms, with a comprehensive manual file check typically taking two to three hours, depending on complexity.
“Using Curvestone has brought that down to minutes, allowing our team to spend more time on high-value items such as coaching and training. In addition, the integration with OMS has improved that efficiency even further, as it saves the team having to transfer the information into Curvestone’s own system. Going forward, the OMS integration will also facilitate the ability for advisers to do pre-checks of their own before cases are sent to compliance for file reviews.”.
