Natura’s Interface Smart Ring Puts AI Agents on Your Finger for $99

At $99, Natura’s Interface ring is priced to attract early adopters. Natura announced the product but has not yet shipped it, and no independent hands-on testing has been identified as of this writing.

Why This Moment, Why a Ring

Natura’s founder argues that a finger press is a less disruptive path to an AI agent than unlocking a phone and navigating an app.

Founder Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, who previously built consumer-accessories company Rolling Square, frames Interface as a screenless interface for AI. The ring follows Natura’s earlier HumanPods, open-ear earbuds built around the same NatureOS software ecosystem.

    How Natura Says It Works

Press the ring, speak a request, and receive a response through connected headphones, an iPhone Live Activity notification, or the NatureOS app.

Natura plans integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Meta’s Muse, and a scheduling AI agent called Instinct, among others. It is worth noting that Natura’s current official pages list a different set of agents, including Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, OpenClaw, and tinyNature; the supported lineup appears to still be evolving.

The intended workflow lets you route requests to the right agent for the task. Claude handles a coding question; Instinct books a dinner reservation.

Natura also describes voice-triggered device control, meeting-note capture, and file retrieval as planned use cases.

These are company-stated visions, not independently demonstrated capabilities.

    Stated Specs

All figures below are Natura’s announced specifications and have not been independently tested.

    • Price: $99 at launch; Natura may raise it later
    • Subscription: Free for 3 to 6 months, then $9 per month
    • Battery life: 6 to 12 days depending on usage; approximately 100 minutes to fully recharge
    • Health tracking: heart rate, HRV, sleep stages, step count, daily movement, and skin temperature
    • Availability:Preorders were expected to open the month following the October 2026 announcement, with shipping targeted for December or January; current status is unconfirmed

Where It Sits Against Health-First Rings

Natura’s stated differentiator is combining continuous health tracking with multi-agent AI access in a single wearable.

Oura, Ultrahuman, and RingConn are established health-focused smart-ring competitors with multiple product generations behind them. Whether Interface’s biometric accuracy matches those ecosystems cannot be assessed until independent reviewers test shipping hardware. For broader context on screenless AI wearables, smart glasses represent another fast-moving category worth comparing.

The Real Cost Is Not $99

At $99, the ring is the entry point; the subscription is the ongoing commitment.

Android compatibility was not confirmed in the available reporting. No water-resistance rating or durability specification was disclosed in materials reviewed as of this writing. Privacy policies covering voice recordings, meeting notes, and biometric data have not been publicly detailed.

After the free period ends, Natura plans to charge $9 per month. One year of subscription fees totals $108, which exceeds the ring’s launch price on its own. If you’re weighing whether you’re paying too much for connected devices, that cumulative cost is worth factoring in.

What to Watch Before You Preorder

The absence of independent reviews and unresolved compatibility questions make this a product worth monitoring rather than immediately ordering.

Response accuracy, agent reliability, and real-world battery performance remain unverified manufacturer claims at this stage. Before committing, watch for confirmation ofAndroid compatibility, publication of a clear privacy policy, and the first independent hands-on reviews. Adding 12 months of subscription fees to the launch price brings the potential first-year cost to $207, which is a meaningfully different proposition than the $99 headline suggests.
