<a href="https://myappsplus.com/apple-now-makes-ios-27-the-default-update-for-ios-26-users/” title=”Apple now makes iOS 27 the default update for iOS 26 users”>Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL, XETRA:APC) faces growing iPhone 18 Pro demand concerns as delivery waits shorten, with UBS retaining a ‘neutral’ rating and $296 price target.
UBS Evidence Lab data covering more than 30 geographies showed average iPhone 18 Pro wait times shortened by about six days over the week.
The broker said falling waits against stable supply were increasingly concerning, particularly after price rises heightened the risk that customers would become more sensitive to cost.
However, Pro Max wait times remained relatively steady over the week, averaging about 24 days, down from 25 days for the previous model a year earlier.
These mixed signals precede the start of preorders for the $1,999 iPhone Duo on 16 October 2026, with availability following on 23 October.
UBS expects the Duo to draw demand from high-end Pro Max devices, leaving Pro Max waits flat to slightly lower the following week versus the previous model a year earlier.
Despite its concerns, UBS left iPhone estimates unchanged, forecasting September 2026 quarter revenue of $55.9 billion, up 14.0%, against management guidance for mid-teens growth.
Its forecast of 55.0 million iPhones for the quarter, up 2.8%, remains below consensus of 57.8 million units.
For the 2026 financial year, UBS expects iPhone revenue of $252.4 billion, up 20.4%, compared with consensus of $252.2 billion.
The broker’s valuation balances solid iPhone demand against mounting gross-margin pressure and supply-chain challenges.
