The TP-Link Tapo MagCam 2K+ Outdoor Wireless Security Camera kit is built for people who want a wire-free way to watch over their home’s exterior. This Tapo C425 kit pairs the camera with a separate solar panel, and there’s a strong Prime Day deal on it right now.
The camera records in 2K QHD at 2560 x 1440, giving you a sharper view of driveways, porches, and yards. It also includes full-color night vision, built-in spotlights, and infrared night vision for clearer monitoring after dark. Power comes from a 10,000mAh rechargeable battery, and TP-Link says it only needs a short period of direct sunlight each day to stay charged with the included solar panel.
It also packs a solid set of smart security tools. You get motion, person, pet, and vehicle detection, along with customizable activity zones and instant alerts. Two-way audio lets you speak through the camera, and you can store footage locally on a microSD card up to 512GB or use optional cloud storage. The weather-resistant design is built for outdoor use, while magnetic mounting makes placement and repositioning easy. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
As for the deal, Amazon has the Tapo MagCam 2K+ Outdoor Wireless Security Camera w/Solar for $64.99, down from its $99.99 RRP. That’s a 35% discount relative to the recommended retail price, saving you $35. Better yet, this Prime Day offer is at an all-time low, making now a great time to pick one up.
