FootJoy’s ARCUS technology Jacket offers premium winter protection (FootJoy/Acushnet)

FootJoy’s focus on comfortable protection is the key piece of the puzzle in battling the elements during the winter golf season, with their new FW26 Collection.

The best clothing for the winter months needs to factor in three core constraints.

Is there enough warmth to survive the cold; will you be protected from the inevitable rain; and can it do both those things while still providing enough freedom of movement to allow you to swing your best?

With FootJoy’s history in the game, they are more than well-placed enough to know how to tackle all these requirements to produce the best winter wear available, and it’s clear from their latest technology that they’ll be leaving players more prepared than ever before to brave the winter elements.

    ARCUS technology

FootJoy are changing up their usual repertoire of winterized equipment, bringing a new series into the fold with the addition of ARCUS technology, in both trouser and jacket options.

The ARCUS range is built to tackle all the elements you can face in the fall and winter season, and then some.

Utilizing the FootJoy TriLock System, which places the individual materials used in construction around the body in strategic places to compliment golfers and resist common wear and tear.

Three unique fabrics, chosen for their performance attributes around range of motion, waterproofing, and complete playing comfort, have been implemented in key areas to maximize the golfer’s ability to deliver on the course when it matters.

This includes abrasion-resistant ripstop material in high-wear zones, for enhanced durability, alongside lightweight and stretch paneling for total swing mobility, providing total comfort and allowing for creation of speed and consistency, no matter the conditions.

In addition, FootJoy have reengineered the collars of the ARCUS jacket to reduce interference in the player’s swing, adapting a new, low-profile and lightweight design for easier flow while still protecting your inner layers from the wind and rain.

    All-weather protection

While ARCUS is taking the spotlight for this season’s collection, it’s not the only choice you have with the game’s number one shoe and glove brand.

FootJoy are returning with new enhancements to both their DryJoy Select LX jacket as well as the new HydroLite X options, providing even more mobility and protection levels for the golfer.

The DryJoys Select LX, which FootJoy label as their ‘ultimate waterproof jacket,’ is one of the most advanced products on the market when it comes to protecting you from the rain.

The three layers in the Select LX withstands up to 35,000mm of water column pressure while still maintaining a breathability rating of 23,000 grams-per-meter-squared – keeping you dry and sweat-free, with the same freedom of movement offered in the ARCUS jacket.

Finally, HydroLite X is being given a revamp for colors and styles, with new ranges in the men’s jackets now including Navy/Lake Blue and Storm/Black combos, and ladies being able to add the Windward Blue/White Dot to their wardrobe.

The modern golfer, who looks to combine performance with the latest fashion trends, can also pick up a wilder Storm Camo styling in the HydroLite X Hoodie, or Rain Shirt, that delivers the same stretchability and freedom of movement as the rest of the collection.

You can explore the FootJoy Fall/Winter 2026 range for yourself now, with the family available worldwide through FootJoy stockists or directly through the company’s website, while stock lasts.
