Samsung has apparently confirmed a November 2026 launch for its first Android XR smart glasses.
The Korea Heraldcites a “Samsung official” who confirmed that the company will be launching its Android XR glasses in November. A specific release date was not confirmed, nor any details about if there’s a full launch event or not for Samsung’s Android XR glasses.
The report reiterates that the first releases are display-less glasses similar to Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses and that they will have a camera. Samsung has shown off these models over the course of 2026, most notably around its Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch event in July where designs from Warby Parker and Gentle Monster were both on display.
Also mentioned is that Samsung is apparently targeting weight “up to 5 grams” lighter than Meta’s base Ray-Ban model (51g).
Pricing remains unclear.
