Today Apple released the first iOS 27.2 beta, a surprising move since there’s been no 27.1 release. And joining the all-new Health app, iOS 27.2 beta 1 also expands Siri AI support to five new languages.
Siri AI adds support for French, Japanese, Spanish, more in iOS 27.2 beta 1

When Siri AI launched with iOS 27 earlier this week, it was only available on devices set to English.
But at the time, Apple promised that additional languages would be supported very soon. And now if you’re running the developer beta, the wait has proven extremely brief.
iOS 27.2 beta 1 debuted today, and it supports Siri AI in the following additional languages:
- French
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Spanish
It’s a big expansion considering the launch version this week offered only English.
But now with iOS 27.2 in developer beta, you can access the more powerful Siri AI if your device is set to English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, or Spanish.
