The new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now available to pre-order. Apple announced the new phones on Wednesday, highlighting a variable aperture camera system, a smaller Dynamic Island, four new color options, and more.

As a refresher, here are some of the highlights of the new iPhone 18 Pro phones:
- A new variable aperture main camera for more control over lighting and depth of field.
- The new A20 Pro chip brings 50% more memory bandwidth and 40% faster GPU performance.
- The Dynamic Island is smaller and can now show three Live Activities at once.
- Battery life has been substantially upgraded. The iPhone 18 Pro can deliver up to 24 hours of real-world use, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max can deliver 30 hours.
- A next-generation vapor chamber helps deliver even better sustained performance.
- Wired charging is faster: 50% charge in 15 minutes.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available in four different color options:
- Burgundy
- Glacier
- Silver
- Black
Pricing starts at $1,199 for the iPhone 18 Pro and $1,299 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The starting storage configuration is 256GB, and you can upgrade all the way to 2TB if you’d like. Purchasing options include paying outright, financing with Apple Card or your carrier, and the new Apple Upgrade leasing program.
The first iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max pre-orders will arrive next Friday, September 18. Next on the docket is the iPhone Duo, which will open for pre-order on October 16 and ship on October 23.
