A free update* to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available now! This update features several enhancements to the game when playing on Nintendo Switch 2.
Play with eight players on one screen
With one Nintendo Switch 2 console and enough Joy-Con, Joy-Con 2 or Pro Controllers, you can now race in split-screen with up to eight people in local Multiplayer mode**.
It’s ideal for when you’ve got a big group of friends together and want to play some Mario Kart!
CameraPlay support
That means when playing with friends, you’ll be able to see their faces in the game on-screen. Seeing the look on your friends’ faces as you overtake them can definitely add to the racing experience!
