Despite belonging to different price segments, many Android smartphone models still offer a user experience that’s worth the money.
Most of us, when buying a phone, prioritize an affordable price, but still require the device to run smoothly and last for many years. With current Android phones, there are options at every price point, each focusing on a different strength – some prioritize the screen, others the chip, the camera, or software updates.
Below are 5 Android models across various price segments, reviewed by the technology website Android Authority , with a list of strengths and weaknesses for each device to help users choose according to their needs.
Moto G Power 2025
The Moto G Power 2025 is currently priced at around $199 (5.1 million VND). It uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, and is expandableate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5
What makes this phone stand out at this price point is its durability. It’s IP68/IP69 water and dust resistant, has a vegan faux leather back, and still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The main camera is 50 MP with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The device launched with Android 15 and only received one major Android update. The Dimensity 6300 chip is also, on paper, inferior to its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy A17
The Galaxy A17 is priced under $250 (6.5 million VND). It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The device is 7.5mm thick and weighs 192g, making it lighter and thinner than its predecessor thanks to a change in back panel material.
The most significant upgrade is the 50MP main camera, which for the first time features optical image stabilization. Samsung claims low-light photos are up to 2.5 times brighter than the previous generation. The rest remains the same, with a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging, IP54 water and dust resistance, and a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 2 TB.

The Galaxy A17’s strongest point at this price point is its software, with Samsung promising six Android updates and six years of security patches. The 4GB RAM version might be a bit limited when running multiple apps simultaneously, but 6GB and 8GB RAM options are also available.
Moto G Stylus 2025
The Moto G Stylus 2025, scheduled for release in April 2025, is currently priced around $300 (7.7 million VND). It uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and 8 GB of RAM. The 6.7-inch pOLED display boasts high resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. Motorola claims the stylus is up to 6.4 times more responsive than its predecessor.
The main camera is 50 MP with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), accompanied by a 13 MP ultrawide camera. The phone is IP68 water resistant and still has a headphone jack. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging, significantly faster than other phones in the same price range. The Moto G Stylus 2025’s weakness lies in its software, receiving a maximum of only two major Android updates, significantly fewer than Samsung and Google.
Google Pixel 10a
The Pixel 10a currently starts at $599 (approximately 15.5 million VND), with specifications almost unchanged from its predecessor, the Pixel 9a, including a Tensor G4 chip, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,100mAh battery. It features a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i. The camera module is flush with the back panel, no longer protruding.

The rear camera system includes a 48MP main sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The phone is IP68 water and dust resistant, and features 30W wired charging and 10W wireless charging, faster than its predecessor. Google has also added several features such as Satellite SOS, Auto Best Take, and Camera Coach.
The main reason users prefer the Pixel 10a is its software, as it runs Android 16 and comes with a 7-year commitment to operating system updates, security, and Pixel Drops.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
The Galaxy S25 FE features an Exynos 2400 chip and 8 GB of RAM. It has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, a 7.4 mm thick body, and IP68 water resistance. The current price in Vietnam is approximately over 13 million VND.
The camera system features three lenses: a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. This is a key difference compared to the four smartphones mentioned above, which lack a telephoto camera.

The device has a 4,900 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Samsung promises seven years of operating system and security updates, along with Galaxy AI features like Gemini Live and Circle to Search for users.
Which machine should I choose?
If you want to save money while still needing durability, the Moto G Power 2025 is the preferred choice. Meanwhile, if you need a camera with image stabilization at a low price, the Galaxy A17 is a reasonable option.
Users who frequently take notes with a stylus should choose the Moto G Stylus, but must accept that the software will receive fewer updates. Ultimately, if you aim for long-term use and regular updates, the Pixel 10a or Galaxy S25 FE are two suitable options.
