When it comes to robot vacuums, size matters. Robovac makers need their bots to be powerful, but also small enough to get into tight spots. The two things are often incompatible.
iRobot has revealed its latest flagship robot vacuum, and I’ve just seen it in action at IFA 2026. The Roomba Max 875 Combo is a combination robovac-and-mop, and boasts some intriguing features on both of those floorcare prongs.
Looks aren’t everything, but in the case of the DJI Romo 2, that seems the logical place to start. DJI has come in strong with its second-generation robot vacuum, calling it “not just a cleaning tool, [but] an elegant, semi-translucent piece of future-forward home decor”.
