Qualcomm and Amazon have announced what they have describing as a “multi-generational product collaboration,” in which Qualcomm will help build future AI data center infrastructure for AWS.

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced a multi-generation collaboration with Amazon to enable customized silicon at scale for large-scale AI data centers, working together on AI inference. In addition, the companies are working on optical connectivity solutions extending up to 1.6T and future-generation solutions.

Ultrahuman, an Indian startup best known for making smart rings, has raised $70 million in a new funding round that includes backing from Qualcomm’s venture arm, as it looks beyond sleep and health tracking to build a ring that can run software on the device and eventually power everything from AI interactions to games.
