The Customer Appreciation Sale starts this weekend after Nintendo recouped $300 million in tariff refunds.

Nintendo’s latest system update for the Switch 2 is here and delivers a much-wanted new feature: VRR support in Docked mode. But there’s a catch: a the moment, it only works on one game, and we’re not sure how many more will follow, because it’s reported to work on a “whitelist” system.

Alongside the now live Zelda Ocarina of Time remake pre-order deal, Nintendo just announced one of its “largest promotions ever.” It’s certainly not Black Friday yet by any means, but Nintendo has an upcoming September sale event that sounds like it (might) rival the usual fall holiday price drops.

Mario Kart World is getting a free update today that adds several retro courses pulled from the SNES original. These include classics like Choco Island, Mario Circuit and Ghost Valley, among others. All told, there are ten newly-uploaded courses to race on, which will be available in Versus mode.

The September Nintendo Direct goes live this morning, just after the Zelda 40h Anniversary event yesterday and the now live pre-orders for the new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. 

The Legend of Zelda Movie’s official title has been revealed — and it breaks a long-standing tradition for the incredibly popular Nintendo videogame series.

The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct will go live later today, but appears Nintendo might have already revealed the Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake price ahead of time.
