Amazon’s early Labor Day 2026 sale has discounts across much of Apple’s lineup, from AirPods and iPads to accessories and the latest MacBook Pros. The savings range from $19 on a four-pack of AirTags to $500 on an M5 Max MacBook Pro, and the timing is especially notable with Apple’s iPhone 18 event also on the horizon. If you’re shopping the ecosystem while waiting for the next iPhone, these deals are worth considering. For more deals we’ve vetted across tech, home, and other categories, you can follow the rest of our Labor Day coverage throughout the holiday weekend.

Save up to $30 on AirPods

Amazon has all three current AirPods options discounted, starting with the standard AirPods 4 at $99, down from $129. They’re the least expensive pair here and keep Apple’s open-fit design, which is a better match for people who don’t like silicone ear tips. The AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation are $149 instead of $179 and keep that same fit while adding ANC, making them the more useful upgrade for commuting or travel.

The AirPods Pro 3 are the most full-featured option at $225, down from $249, but they’re also a different kind of earbud. Their silicone tips create a tighter seal, so they’re the better choice if stronger noise cancellation is more important than the open feel of the AirPods 4. They also add features such as Adaptive Audio, hearing-health tools, and heart-rate sensing during workouts, which give them more appeal for people who use their earbuds heavily throughout the day.

Save up to $500 on 2026 M5 MacBook Pros

Amazon has two of Apple’s 2026 MacBook Pro configurations on sale, with the bigger discount going to the M5 Max model. The version with 48GB of unified memory and a 2TB SSD is $4,499, down from $4,999, which is a substantial cut if you actually need that level of performance for video editing, 3D work, development, or other demanding workloads. For everyday browsing, writing, and office work, though, it’s far more machine than most people need.

The M5 Pro model is the more realistic choice for a wider range of buyers at $2,354, down from $2,499. It comes with 24GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, so there’s still plenty of room for heavier creative and technical work without jumping all the way to the M5 Max price. Apple introduced both models in March 2026.

Save up to $50 on iPads

The 11-inch iPad with the A16 chip and 128GB of storage is the more straightforward buy at $399, down from $449. It’s the less-expensive option and should cover the basics comfortably, whether that means streaming, reading, video calls, schoolwork, or using a keyboard for lighter productivity.

The iPad mini with the A17 Pro chip and 128GB of storage is $569 instead of $599, and the appeal here is really the smaller size. It’s easier to hold for reading, carry while traveling, or use for quick notes, but you’re paying $170 more than the 11-inch iPad at the current sale prices. Unless portability is the main reason you want an iPad, the larger model gives you more screen for less money.

Save over $30 on Apple accessories

The second-generation AirTags are the more broadly useful accessory deal here, with a four-pack down to $79.99 from $99 and sitting at its lowest price yet, according to price trackers. A pack of four is especially handy if you want to spread them across luggage, keys, backpacks, or other things you tend to misplace, instead of paying for each tracker separately.

What do you think so far?

The Apple Pencil Pro is a more specific buy at $97, down from $129. It makes the most sense if you already use a compatible iPad for handwritten notes, drawing, photo edits, or marking up documents, since those are the situations where the extra precision and controls actually get used. For everyone else, the AirTags are the easier deal to recommend because they solve a simpler everyday problem.

    Amazon Labor Day Deals FAQs

When do Labor Day sales start?

Early Labor Day sales have already started. More retailers are likely to start their own sales leading up to the holiday on Monday, Sept. 7.

Are Labor Day sales worth it?

Labor Day has traditionally been a good time to find deals in many categories, but whether they’re worth it or not depends entirely on what you’re looking for. Compared to sales like Black Friday or Prime Day, Labor Day falls short on volume and quality of discounts, but you might still find a good price on tech or kitchen appliances that will match those holiday prices—or even beat them. (We use price tracking tools to let you know if a deal is worth it or not.)

What other stores have Labor Day sales?

So far, Home Depot, Amazon, and Wayfair have started their early Labor Day sales. Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are likely to follow. (Lifehacker will be rounding up deals for all of these sales.)
