Oppo confirms its next foldable will actually know what a ‘global’ release is

The Oppo Find N6 is a stunning foldable but, for the second year in a row, it really stretches the definition of what a “global” release means. Oppo Find N7, apparently, will fix that.

Oppo Find N5 and Find N6both saw global launches, but the company’s definition of that excluded Europe and virtually every other major market. For the most part, both foldables were essentially sold only in China, with major markets elsewhere left out. And that’s a shame, because both raised the bar for foldables in major ways.

Now, we’re looking forward to the launch of Oppo Find N7, a device rumored to be adopting the wide form factorpopularized by Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo, and that Oppo technically offered before anyone else.

And it might actually get a global release.

Speaking to Nixanbal , Oppo apparently confirmed that its next foldable will see a release in Europe. It’d be the first time an Oppo foldable made its way to the region, with the OnePlus Open serving as Oppo’s global foldable back in 2023 for its one and only generation

As for a release date, that’s still unconfirmed, but Oppo tends to release new foldables early in the year, so March 2027, give or take, is probably when we’ll see more officially.
