While pre-orders on the new M6 MacBook Pro and touchscreen MacBook Pro PROLED XDR are now live, they are certainly going to cost you and Amazon just dropped the Silver M5 MacBook Air back down to Prime Day pricing at nearly $200 off. Just keep in mind, you can score this same machine with a FREE 70W charger for $1 less right now. Details below.
Amazon is now offering Apple’s 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,099.99 shipped– this is the base and most affordable model in the lineup.
Regularly $1,299, this is actually within $1 of the fall Prime Day price and the first chance to land it down this low since. As of the time of writing, only the Silver and Starlight models are catching the notable discount.
All of that said, B&H happens to be offering this same machine in the Silver colorway down at $1,099 right now with a FREE upgraded Apple charger – it is including the 70W model instead of the base option. So that’s $1 less than Amazon and you get the faster charger thrown in for nothing (this would normally run you an extra $20 at Apple).
Either way, you’re looking at the return of some of the best prices on the most affordable MacBook Air since late June. Considering the limited color options here, there is a good chance these deals will not stick around for long.
