We spotted some 13-inch M5 MacBook Air models at $150 off early this week, and after warning folks that you might want to hold off until the $200 price drop returns – it has. Amazon is now offering this mid-range Midnight M5 MacBook Air at $200 off.
Amazon just dropped the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD down to $1,399 shipped.
You’re looking at a regularly $1,599 configuration that is now back at the fall Prime Day price and the lowest we have tracked in months. It, like the other 13-inch models on Amazon, saw a $150 discount earlier this week, but it has now dropped another $50.
This particular $200 discounts is only available on this one configuration and only on the Midnight colorway, which is often times a clear indication that it might not last for long. We expect to see $200 price drops across the entire lineup, or most of it, come Black Friday month (or sometime in November), but it looks like that deal is now live again right now on this one config.
There is, of course, a chance we see deals even lower than this for Black Friday, but with the way things are going on the MacBook Air lineup, just after the sizable price hike in late June, it’s hard to say for sure – we are, frankly, lucky to be seeing $200 price drops on what has traditionally been Apple’s most popular MacBook lineup at this point.
