In a post in its UK Newsroom, Samsung reiterates that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series has been a huge hit, including in Europe.
Samsung <a href="https://news.samsung.com/uk/samsung-continues-to-see-record-sales-for-galaxy-z8-series-in-europe-with-galaxy-z-fold8-and-fold8-ultra-up-almost-50″ rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>says that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series is performing considerably better than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, with a 45% increased in sales in Europe when focused in to the first nine weeks post-launch.
Over the month of September, Samsung adds that searches for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series jumped by 260%, with even more interest between September 6-12, up to 460%. That’s right when Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, which Samsung had previously said boosted not only interest in the Fold 8 series, but sales too.
Still, it’s notable that interest jumped in Europe too, as the region is far more mixed in its smartphone share compared to the US, where Apple is dominant.
