While you can still snag the HyperX OMEN 15 RTX 5060 gaming laptop at its $1,149 low, Walmart now has an even more powerful notebook on sale. The GIGABYTE Gaming A16 Pro with an RTX 5070 Ti GPU is down to $1,449 shipped, knocking a whopping $701 off its usual $2,150 price. We’ve seen the standard A16 laptop see plenty of discounts in the past, but this is the first time we’re tracking a notebook offer on this config loaded with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The same notebook is still fetching close to $2,000 at other retailers, including Best Buy, which makes today’s Walmart offer a no brainer if you’re in the market to buy a new notebook. Head below for more details.
This GIGABYTE Gaming A16 Pro configuration steps things up quite a bit compared to the RTX 5060 OMEN gaming laptop we featured yesterday with an RTX 5070 Ti. It pairs the GPU with Intel’s Core 7 240H, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Up front, you get a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, giving you a sharper 16:10 display that should work well for both fast-paced games and everyday use. The extra memory also gives you plenty of headroom for heavier multitasking and content creation, while the RTX 5070 Ti makes this a much more capable option for 1440p gaming.
The HP OMEN gaming laptop, as previously mentioned, is also worth a look while it’s down to $1,149. It comes with an RTX 5060 GPU and should have no trouble handling modern games at 1080p, making it a solid, cheaper alternative if you don’t need the extra horsepower of an RTX 5070 Ti.
