No Man’s Sky is officially coming to iPhones and iPads this month.

When is No Man’s Sky launching on iOS?
Hello Games’ sci-fi space exploration game No Man’s Sky is officially expanding its list of supported platforms. This time around, the game is coming to mobile iOS platforms, following its release on the Mac. It won’t launch as a toned-down version of itself, either; the game is set to hit mobile platforms with 10 years’ worth of major content updates, including this year’s Cosmos update.
Even on mobile platforms, the game’s world will continue to be generated at run-time by the device it is being played on. The only limitations mobile users will face include multiplayer and “settlements” being unavailable on day one of launch. The game will be playable on iPhone 11 and 3rd generation iPad Air and above, and will require under 5GB of storage space.
No Man’s Sky is also coming to mobile platforms with new touch controls, along with controller, TV casting, mouse, and keyboard support. Pre-orders for the game are now open during the Apple App Store’s Indie Games Week, with a full release set for 28 October, 2026.
The game will be free to try at launch on iPhone and iPad.
