Amazon has dropped the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm, LTE) to $269.99, down from its $349.99 recommended retail price. That saves you $80, a 23% discount off the RRP, and makes this Prime Day offer the best price we’ve seen on Samsung’s small LTE smartwatch since the last Prime Day sale. Even then, it was only $4 cheaper!
This deal is worth a look if you want a smartwatch that stays connected even when your phone isn’t in your pocket. The Galaxy Watch 8 has built-in cellular support, so it can handle calls, messages, and apps on its own. It also packs 64GB of storage, giving you plenty of room for apps and other data right on your wrist.
Samsung also loads this model with its latest health and fitness tools. That includes sleep tracking, energy scoring, heart monitoring, and workout features. The slim and lightweight design is another big part of the appeal here, especially if you prefer a watch that feels less bulky on smaller wrists. Samsung is also said to have refined the fit compared to earlier standard Galaxy Watch models, which helps it feel more comfortable throughout the day.
The 40mm LTE version is described as having a 325mAh battery, with battery life generally closer to that of a daily-charge device, especially when LTE and health tracking are active. Still, for buyers who want a polished Wear OS watch with strong features and phone-free connectivity, this Prime Day price cut makes now a good time to grab one.
Buyers need Amazon Prime to get this discount. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here.
