Apple TV today released the second season of its animated fantasy adventure series “The Sisters Grimm,” with all six new episodes now available to stream. Here are the details.
’The Sisters Grimm’ season 2 now available on Apple TV
After releasing the trailer for the second season of “The Sisters Grimm” a few days ago, Apple TV today launched all six episodes of the new season to its subscribers.
“The Sisters Grimm” is based on the NYT best-selling series of the same name by Michael Buckley, and its first season premiered last year on Apple TV with a 100% Tomatometer.
This animated adventure series tells the story of two sisters who “navigate a town full of people torn straight from fantasy and fairy tales, confronting heroes and villains alike, while investigating the mystery of their missing parents,” per Apple TV’s synopsis. It features voices from Abubakar Salim (Jamestown), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), and Leah Newman (Kindergarten: The Musical), among others.
Here’s Apple TV on what to expect from the second season of “The Sisters Grimm“:
In season two, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.
