Amazon has dropped the Bose SoundLink Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker to $179, down from its $269 recommended retail price. That saves you $90, which is a 33% discount relative to the RRP, and it is the best deal we have seen on it this year.
This is a strong time to grab it if you want a portable speaker from a well-known brand without paying full price. The Bose SoundLink Plus sits in the middle of Bose’s portable speaker range, between the smaller Flex and larger Max, giving you a nice balance of size and portability.
For the money, you’re getting a rugged Bluetooth speaker with up to 20 hours of battery life, so it is built for long days outside or away from a charger. It also has USB-C charging for a phone or other small device, which adds some extra use when you are out and about. Bose gives it an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and the design also includes shock and rust resistance for outdoor use.
The speaker supports Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive and Snapdragon Sound, aimed at higher-quality wireless playback on compatible devices. Bose also uses a powder-coated steel grille and a durable build made for travel, beach days, and poolside listening. On top of that, it has a 4.6-star rating, which should give shoppers some added confidence.
At $179, this Bose speaker is at its lowest price of the year on Amazon, making now a great chance to pick it up.
