Should you consider Motorola deals during the BBD sale?
Motorola’s current-gen flagship, the Signature, will sell for Rs 57,499, making it one of the most affordable well-rounded high-end smartphones with a versatile camera setup. It includes a large-sensor 50MP 1/1.28-inch primary camera, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 122-degree field of view, and a 50MP selfie shooter. Paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, the phone should deliver enough performance for power users who enjoy graphically intensive gaming and heavy multitasking.
The Moto Edge 70 Max essentially swaps the periscope lens on the Signature for a much larger 7,100mAh battery, while coming at an ever more affordable price. It also adds a 2K flat AMOLED display by ditching the Signature’s quad curved panel, making it a better pick for those who want to avoid accidental touches. Other things remain the same, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and Hello UI software with hints of stock Android.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Pro
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Pro share identical specifications, including the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, a promise of three OS upgrades, a decently sized 6,500mAh battery, and a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. If you’re looking for a phone with a telephoto lens, the Edge 70 Pro+’s 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens will serve you well for portraits and long-range zoom shots, making it one of the most affordable phones in this sale with a telephoto lens. On the other hand, the Edge 70 Pro offers excellent value at Rs 36,999 since it carries all the essentials of the Edge 70 Pro+ at a lower price sans the telephoto.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, Moto G77 Power, Moto G37 Power
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion’s pre-sale price of Rs 30,999 makes it one of the best value-for-money smartphones under Rs 35,000, with a quad-curved 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50MP 1/1.57-inch primary camera paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, and a generous 7,000mAh battery. The Rs 29,999 sale price further sweetens the deal.
For buyers seeking midrange smartphones, the Moto G77 Power and Moto G37 Power are solid picks for great battery endurance, fast software, and a comfortable vegan leather rear panel under Rs 20,999
These price cuts suggest Motorola is aiming to capture a larger share of the premium mid-range market during the festive season, leveraging its ‘clean Android’ image to stand out against rivals like Xiaomi and Samsung.
