Whether you want a cheap productivity machine or you’re looking for a good deal on a gaming laptop, Acer has a slew of laptops marked down for Prime Day. To save you time, I combed through its sales offerings and identified the best three deals.
Acer Aspire Go 16: Save $200
Similar to the Asus Zenbook 16 on sale for Prime Day, the Acer Aspire Go 16 is a thin-and-light 16-inch laptop. It’s discounted to $700, which is more than the Zenbook 16 that’s on sale for $530. (Editor’s note: The Zenbook now appears to have sold out.) Both are worthy of your attention because they have 16GB of RAM, resulting in a smoother Windows 11 performance than other budget laptops like the Dell XPS 13, HP OmniBook 5 and Microsoft Surface Laptop that supply only 8GB of memory.

$700 (original price: $900)
What about the fact that the Aspire Go 16 is $170 more than the Zenbook 16, you say? Well, it’s got two advantages that might help you justify its higher cost.
For one, the Aspire Go 16 has a touchscreen, and the Zenbook 16 does not. If you like tapping and swiping on the screen, the Aspire Go 16 is the pick. Both displays are otherwise the same at 16 inches in size with a 1,920×1,200-pixel resolution. The Aspire Go 16 is also lighter, at just over 3 pounds, and the Zenbook 16 is closer to 4 pounds.
The Aspire Go 16 is based on an Intel Core 7 150U processor. It’s a Raptor Lake processor that’s two generations behind Intel’s current Wildcat Lake line but should still provide enough oomph for everyday tasks. The laptop also features 512GB of storage, which is the minimum I recommend for a Windows laptop. (Some budget models try to squeeze by with a 256GB SSD, which you’re likely to max out before you’re ready to buy a new laptop.)
Acer Nitro V 16S gaming laptop: Save $218
Acer’s entry-level Nitro series is usually a good place to look for a gaming laptop at a good price, and there’s a great one on sale right now for Prime Day.
Save $218 with Prime:The Acer Nitro V 16S is on sale for $1,232, down from its full price of $1,450. It features a 16-inch display with a 1,920×1,200-pixel resolution and 180Hz refresh rate powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU and RTX 5060. It also offers 16GB of RAM – standard for the price – and a 1TB SSD, which is more than other budget gaming laptops with only a 512GB SSD. (Game libraries take up lots of space, so 1TB is much preferred.)
Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 gaming laptop: Save $200
Acer’s Predator Helios Neo line offers a thinner, more refined design than the Nitro line.
Save $200 with Prime:You can get a Predator Helios Neo 14 for $1,700, down from $1,900. It has an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and RTX 5070 graphics, plus 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Its 14-inch display has a fine 2,560×1,600-pixel resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.
